U Penn Awards Annan Honorary Degree

Last week, the University of Pennsylvania awarded Kofi Annan, who gave the school's commencement speech, an honorary degree.

When the news spread around the world, massive spontaneous celebrations broke out in Rwanda, Iraq, Zimbabwe, the Congo, Darfur, East Timor and other places, including France.

In addition, the international prostitution industry thanked U Penn for rewarding Annan who, in its words, "helped create the proper climate" for business to flourish.

Hopefully Penn counted the silverware before he left the premises.

I figured out how to be a successful lib. Be vocal, incompitant, and corrupt. Than when you are caught blame conservatives and start complaining how they are messing up the world. You will then be a lefty hero.

John Brown, you are right on the money. I think the old saying that it's darkest before the dawn is the case here. You'll see the most desparate actions taken by the left in a vain attempt to persuade the U.S that the U.N is worthwhile. We can just laugh and roll on to victory.

Am I the only one who thinks Kofe Annan looks like Whitman Mayo the actor who played Grady on Sanford and Son?
