Return of the Prodigal Son

Michael Lopez-Calderon is back from the wilderness.

Four years ago, Calderon was a twenty-year die-hard leftist and leftist activist who surrounded himself with the works of Chomsky, Zinn, Edward Said and Alexander Cockburn.

As a high school teacher, Calderon would often impress his leftist world-view, one highly critical of the U.S., on the students in the social studies class he taught.

On September 11, 2001, his leftist house of mirrors, was completely shattered. Calderon says that, "...nothing prepared me for the devastation of nearly all of my political and philosophical underpinnings like the horrifying dust and soot-filled crash of the World Trade Center and the equally horrific apologias proffered by the Left for this most despicable act."

Since that day, Calderon, an essayist, has published a website called "Calderon's Call," where he discusses topics from the War on Terror to free market economics. His is a site well worth your time.

It is our pleasure to welcome Michael Lopez-Calderon to the Moonbat Central team.
