The Islamic Fictions of William Baker
I attended William Baker's speech on Saturday at the Boca Raton Marriott event in honor of Muhammad. Buttering up his Muslim audience with periodic Arabic, Baker's statements included:
- "Islam was never spread by force. History proves that."
- "The very name Islam is peace!"
- "I'm a servant of Allah."
Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, from among the people of the Book [Jews and Christians], until they pay compensation with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
As Unveiling Islam author Ergun Mehmet Caner (a former Muslim) observes:
Islam at its core is a religion of warfare. Muhammad was a warrior. We are taught to conquer. We are taught to fight. If anyone says in the media that Islam is a religion of peace, they either don't know their faith, don’t know the Qur'an, or they are lying.
Other speakers at the event described Muhammad as "merciful" and "a messenger of peace." Consider this peaceful conduct Caner describes:
In 627, an Arab confederacy force of ten thousand fought the Muslims of Medina. The Meccans were discouraged by their inability to cross a deep ditch before the Muslim fortification, so they retreated, leaving the remaining Jews of Medina without protection. Muhammad, seeing the opening to exterminate the last Jewish tribe, accused the Jews of plotting with the Meccans. Eight hundred Jewish men were beheaded on the end of a trench, a procedure that occupied the entire day and went on far into the night.
Or this peaceful conduct:
Muhammad's troubles with the Jewish community can be most clearly seen through the struggle with a Meccan lyricist named Ka'b. The son of an Arab father and Jewish mother, Ka'b persuasively criticized the effectiveness and character of the prophet. Muhammad fought back both intellectually and militarily. He hired a talented poet named Hassan ben Thabit to sing his praises and acts. Then he told his followers to eliminate the antagonist. Ka'b was enticed from his home one night and slaughtered. One of the crusaders, Abu Na'ilah, seized Ka'b by his hair, pulled him down to the ground, and said to his friends, "Kill the enemy of God!" Ka'b was struck with a sword.

There was a candid Islamic display at the event: A man appearing to be Imam Sayed Mohammad Jawad Al-Qazwini's bodyguard wore a necklace with a prominent pendant of a sword.

If you want more "religion of peace" hypocricy one can go to Cat Stevens website (and his song "peace train")- what a fool - does he actually believe its a religion of peace ? or is he, like many of his coreligionists, just trying to snow us ?

Could you imagine how much terrorism we'd be dealing with if even 1/10th of the world's 1.3 billion Muslims took the Quran seriously?

If they were taking it seriously, they'd only engage in Jihad for serious reasons, rather than these stupid dog and pony show "Jihads" the overzealous ones call for. And if a legit Jihad was called, you wouldn't have terrorism - you'd have open war.
Fortunately - or maybe unfortunately - modern Islam is so scattered and disconnected that none of the countries are really playing with one another, but against. Pan-arab unity is a joke and muslim solidarity is even more laughable.

In desperation, the emperor in Constantinople sent word to the Christians of western Europe asking them to aid their brothers and sisters in the East.--The CRUSADES WERE BORN!
The CRUSADES were not the brainchild of an ambitious pope or rapacious knights but a response to more than four centuries of conquests in which Muslims had already captured two-thirds of the old Christian world. At some point, Christianity as a faith and a culture had to defend itself or be subsumed by Islam. The Crusades were that defense.

I’ve been blogging about our inability to face the fact that Islam, at its core, is a warrior religion. I find Americans are in denial across the political spectrum. As a matter of fact, my focus is the American denial – not the Islamic religion. The facts about Islam are out. The question that remains is: why are people willfully blind? Stop by and give me your thoughts.
I find the comparison of Islam to the Aztecs intriguing. Aztec warfare was also governed / ordained by a religious code.
But the Aztecs also had a sense of order. When Aztec villages were at war with one another, they agreed upon a battlefield and the sizes of forces involved. All Aztec villages, regardless of friend or foe relations between them, were compelled by their religion to join together and destroy the people of the village that dared violate the terms of these arranged battles.
Yes, there was rampant corruption, and not a little totalitarianism from Aztec war chiefs, but Islamic societies have never achieved that level of diplomatic sophistication.
Right-minded has made me think.

Upon further excogitation, with respect to the similarities of Islam and the Aztecs. I believe it is not that far of a stretch, to consider that within every Islamic controlled nation, there are a goodly number of people who consider "W's actions, as being those of a liberator.
A liberator, just like the Texcocans, the Chalca, and the Tepanese considered Hernan Cortez (The Caesar Of Mexico). All of these peoples, which had previously been subjugated or humiliated by the Aztecs, joined forces with this Ceaser's Castellan gentry.
JUST LIKE THE AZTECS, ISLAM HAS REALLY PISSED SOME PEOPLE OFF!--We need to empower, and embolden these people as much as possible to help in this Neo-Crusade!

Same thing you do when someone's got a nasty virus. You wouldn't kill the patient, and you wouldn't let the patient die, would you? No - you'd do your best to help the patient get over it, and take steps to make certain that you don't get it. And once the patient's on the mend, you help them ensure they don't get it again.
What is the disease? Islam that's been allowed to fester into a suicidal pathology, and/or has been warped to fit someone's crazy political aims.
The question, then, is how we help the countries that have developed this virus to get over it, while keeping our own country from catching it, too.
I don't agree with everything Bush is doing in either regard. We are, at least, meeting with some degree of success, but I think we could be doing better.
But I think talking of a crusade is as big of a mistake as talking complete pullout. We have nothing to gain either way.

Obviously, "W" agrees with you, since he originally used the term crusade, and then backed off.--and that's fine, but it is a Crusade for the very existence of the Judeo-Christian World.--Crusade, Infinite Justice, Enduring Freedom, whatever.
Personally, I would die before mollifying the left in any way, but it's obvious "W" knows what he's doing.

And that's why your views on this struggle against terror are so limited, Grandpa. This isn't about mollifying the left. To hell with the left, and the right, quite frankly. To hell with people who just don't get it.
This is about talking to the people we need on our side to win this: Muslims who are not in league with terror, but are either too scared to go against them, or to stuck on the fence to take a side. And you won't get them on the team by calling this a Crusade or trying to tell them about Jesus.

I prefer to teach people that inciting others to terrorism is wrong with a Tomahawk Land Attack Missile armed with a W-88 neutron warhead. Disintegrates organic matter in a one mile radius, leaves pristine, radiation and germ-free buildings behind. That's a bargain come reconstruction time.
My argument for this is similar to my support for the death penalty for murderers and serial killers. The standard is that a criminal can be found to not know right from wrong (legal insanity). I do not personally believe in the insanity defense. If a serial killer is conscious of his actions enough to hide his victims' bodies from discovery, he knows he has done wrong. Fry him and be done with it.
The same for the Islamic world. If an American putting panties on an Arab rapist's head is wrong, but another Arab putting the same Arab in a mass grave is right, we're not dealing with a society that has the right to bitch when we bomb them.
We should stop pretending they do.
Ok, so your answer is, talk to them, but leave out the words Crusade and Jesus.

The left's proselytizing of their gospel, their catechism of the mainstreaming of homosexuality, feminism, infanticide, pornography, and the use of illicit drugs, is what got these demoniacs all fired up, and blood thirsty.--ONE MUST NOT THINK BIBLE BELT, ONE MUST THINK PORN BELT, AND TV WITHOUT PITY, WHEN IT COMES TO PROVOKING JIHAD!--they only see what the left has produced, and think we are all effete, and ripe for the taking.
Moreover, the left's relentless opposition of "W's" War on Terror prevents many Muslims, who want to be free and live in peace, from coming forward and fighting.
They do not want to be left holding the bag, and betrayed, like the Kurds, the Vietnamese, and the Cambodians.
