U.N. Peacekeepers Commit Sexual Abuse--Again
Yet another reason the U.N. needs the abrasive cleaning power of John Bolton: U.N. peacekeepers are again involved in sexual abuse, this time in Liberia.
U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric had this to say in response to the news:
"The allegations range from the exchange of goods, money or services for sex to the sexual exploitation of minors. Preliminary investigations under way by the mission have indicated that some of the allegations have been substantiated while others have not. The Peacekeeping Department here in New York as well as the mission on the ground [in Liberia] are taking appropriate follow-up action,"
What might that "appropriate follow-up action" be?--the distributing of condoms to the "peacekeepers"?

The only thing that surprises me is just how well the U.N has managed to keep all of its sinful proclivities under wraps thus far. The dam is breaking and the river of evidence is picking up speed fast. It's far past time to throw out the U.N as yet another failed bureaucratic fantasy, a mental ward consisting primarily of tyrants and would-be-tyrants.
Problems in Liberia (and the whole of west and central Africa for that matter) could be well on their way to solving themselves if we militarily enforced a moratorium that prevents France from setting foot in Africa until such a time that France becomes a civilized nation.
End neo-colonialization now!
