Respectfuly Mr Horowitz

Given the totality of his record the move is waranted .His association with the anti war movement mentioned in the articles combined with his social policies make the "shoe fit" in totality.

Still I ask other than the Anti War position and socialized medicine are some of those positions held by my wing of the party the Rudy/ Arnold Wing.

What prevents Pat Buchanan who is idolized by NYC radicals from joining this list. He is antiwar and some of his stands no longer seem conservative. He did associate with Dr Lenora Fulani.

In a microcasm I hope that this doesn't portend the end of Reagan's big tent. It was the big tent of the movement and some excellent writings by yourself,Radosh , Briendell and others that shaped my views.

I know a stock B&B (Black, and a Bolshevik) when I see one. http://www.issues2000.org/Senate/Barack_Obama.htm

Obama's has the words of a pragmatic chameleon but his actions are consistently left wing. He is definitely a stealth leftist.

As for Buchanan, he has been consistently on the side of government control of the individual. He certainly is no friend of liberty. He is anti-science, anti-business, anti-immigration, anti US intervention even when countries such as Afghanistan and Iraq are measurably better off.

Buchanan's affinity for leftist causes is well known and should not be surprising given his anti-individualist bent.

Thank you! As an Illinois resident I saw his attempt to transform into a moderate during the last election. Too bad he didn't have a real opponent after Ryan left.
