Where are the Designer-Jean Revolutionaries This Week?
We watch in awe the courage of Lebanese anti-Syrian protesters defying the fascist Ba'ath regime, demanding that the Syrian colonialists leave their country. They are united, Shi'ites, Sunnis, Christians and Druse.
The very Syrians who murdered Hariri are threatening these protesters with the same sorts of mass exterminations that the Ba'ath regime practices in its own country against the Syrians who defy it.
And where are the Western campus "solidarity" protesters, the campus clowns who rush to the West Bank and Gaza to protect Palestinian terrorists and interfere with Israeli anti-terror operations? Not a darned one has gone to Beirut to risk his or her designer jeans by standing in solidarity with the Lebanese victims of Syrian occupation - even though they have pretty good lattés there. The only occupation they oppose is the one whose removal will result in a massive war of annihilation against Israel.
The International Solidarity Movement (ISM) should really rename itself "I Support Murderers." It is not only pro-terror but gutless. It comes to Israel, where it knows the army will treat it with kid gloves. It does not venture into Falluja to protect the Saddam terrorists from the US Marines, because it knows the Marines will not be as diplomatic as the Israel Defense Forces.

There are many problems with your post; chief among them, I do not know how you can verify that "[n]ot a darned [ISM member - I presume]" has gone to Lebanon. While I was volunteering in Israel for a civil rights organization, I met a fellow intern who had previously worked in Lebanon. There is a lot of overlap and I have little doubt that members of ISM have "moonlighted" (if you will) with Lebanese NGOs (that's non-governmental organizations).
You will note a list of Lebanese NGOs here:
http://www.assr.org/resources/122.html
Most of the sites are in English, which only makes sense if they are attracting volunteers from Western countries. (The chief languages of the country are Arabic and French.)
They are mixed in amongst other NGOs throughout the Arab world. You will also note that many of those listed also have anti-Israel bents to them; it should not surprise you that many of those protesting Syria would belong to the "I Support Murderers" club - they undoubtedly include members of Hezbollah, for example.
Otherwise, I should say, too, that I do not know whether I could easily go to Iraq, let alone access areas of heavy military action. Travelling in Israel is rather easy; although, I must admit I have never tried to book a flight to Baghdad.
