Ward Churchill: An Honorary Priest?

Not everyone was offended by Hate-America prophet Ward Churchill; a worldwide UFO cult has made the Marxist pseudo-Indian an honorary priest.

In the press release, U.S. Raelian Movement head Ricky Roehr exclaims:

"Mr. Churchill is exactly right in what he wrote! If we are to have peace, we must take responsibility for our part in the violence and stop handing out blame as if we have done nothing. Quite the contrary, we have done terrible things to countless people."

The terrorists, he claims, could “never stand "toe to toe" with the world’s only super-power and have no choice but to fight in a "cowardly way.” The fact that some Americans are outraged by Churchill proves, “The current air in America is eerily like that of pre-Nazi Germany.”

Finally, Roehr offers this pastoral advice to his country:

"It's not too late. If the US were to spend only a portion of the time and money it spends for war and apply it toward aopolgies [sic.] and actions toward reparations, we would become as we once were - a benevolent big brother instead of the big bully everyone hates but fears. And while we're apologizing, send one to Ward Churchill, too."

For the record, the Raelians is a New Age cult founded by former French journalist Claude Vorilhon (more proof nothing good ever came out of France), who now dubs himself the “Prophet Rael.” His religion holds that aliens created all life on earth and celebrates “sensuality” as their prime sacrament. The cult last made headlines by claiming it created the world’s first human clone (a girl named Eve), whom no one has ever laid eyes upon. In this, the Raelians teach, we are merely following our forebears: extra-terrestrials called “Elohim” (the Hebrew word translated “God” in the Bible), who genetically engineered the first humans. Additionally, the Raelians seem to have an unusual fondness for legalized drugs and prostitution. A cult-linked scientist claims he can make robots feel “lusty,” which may lead to their reproduction.

This award merely cements what observers of the far-Left have long suspected: those who imbibe anti-American conspiracy theories (or in the case of Churchill, invent them) share a common level of rationality with flying saucer fanatics.

There is no word on whether Churchill will now claim he is three-sixteenths “elohim.”
