ISM Terror-Supporter Brian Avery Comes to Harass the Same Israel that Saved His Life

The ISM or "International Solidarity Movement" is a group of pro-terror, pro-genocide far-leftists that sends its dupes to Israel to challenge Israeli soldiers and act as "human shields" for Islamofascist terrorists. They come to Israel because they know what the US Marines would do to them if they came to Iraq to protect the Baathists and Falluja terrorists. They have yet to go to Chechnya to protect the terrorists there.

ISM terror supporters in Israel have harbored and provided transportation for the suicide bombers who attacked the Tel Aviv bar in Israel on April 30, 2003, killing three people. Its members have hidden wanted terrorists in its offices and illegal weapons used by terrorists. On March 27, 2003, Shadi Sukiya, an Islamic Jihad terrorist, was arrested in a building in Jenin where the ISM, the Red Cross and Médecins Sans Frontières rent offices.

The leader and co-founder of ISM, whose name should probably really be "I Support Murderers," Huwaida Arraf, and French ISM activist Angela Coppin were charged recently with violating a court order barring them from the area of Bidou, near Jerusalem where the Israeli West Bank barrier was under construction. According to reports in Israeli newspapers, Bidou and its environs have been the site of numerous violent attacks resulting in hospitalization of some workers constructing the barrier and some police personnel.

ISM's most famous member was Rachel Corrie, who challenged an Israeli bulldozer to a game of chicken and won/lost. Corrie died while trying to prevent the operator of the heavy machine from destroying a PLO smuggling tunnel through which explosives were brought in from Egypt to perpetrate mass murders of Jewish civilians.

But Corrie is not the only victim of ISM's policy of sending its members into combat zones to assist terrorists. Another willing victim was Brian Avery. Avery decided to defy the curfew imposed on a Palestinian area due to terrorist activity during the battle of Jenin, an anti-terror operation launched by Israel after the carnage caused by gangs of Palestinian suicide bombers sent out by the Jenin terror infrastructure operating with PLO's blessings and sponsorship. Avery was standing in the middle of a group of Palestinians who were attacking some Israeli soldiers. Avery may or may not have been tossing rocks at the Jews, Edward Said style. He was hit in the face by debris, either caused by Palestinians shooting at the Israelis or by an Israeli bullet, when the Israeli soldiers fired a warning shot at the feet of the Palestinian hordes and the bullet may have caused some debris to pop up and hit Avery in his face.

After being hurt, Avery enjoyed Israel's world-class free medical care until he recovered.

So was Avery grateful for the world-class medical treatment he got here in Haifa in Rambam Hospital? Hardly. He and his gang of ISM pogromchiki have been demonizing the same Israel and Jews who saved most of his face. Avery starred at the Nuremberg Rally held a while back at Duke University.

And this week Brian Avery is coming to town in Israel to try to get a court to hear his petition demanding a criminal investigation of his shooting. But even the Far Left has admitted that Avery was shot while serving as a human shield for terrorists. The Israeli army already conducted an internal command inquiry and concluded there was no evidence that Brian was hit by shots fired by Israeli soldiers.

On the 28th of February his appeal demanding a criminal investigation will be heard by the Supreme Court. I suggest he stay out of the way of Israeli army 'dozers during his junket in the country.
